Tom Peters Breaks It All Down For Us
Tom Peters is co-author of In Search of Excellence—the book that changed the way the world does business and often tagged as the best business book ever. Seventeen books and thirty-five years later, Tom is still at the forefront of the “management guru industry” he single-handedly invented.
What’s new? A lot. As CNN said, “While most business gurus milk the same mantra for all it’s worth, the one-man brand called Tom Peters is still reinventing himself.” His most recent effort is The Excellence Dividend: Meeting the Tech Tide with Work That Wows and Jobs That Last. Tom’s bedrock belief is: “Execution is strategy—it’s all about the people and the doing, not the talking and the theory.” In November 2017, Tom received the Thinkers50 Lifetime Achievement Award. And it looks like he’s nowhere near done.
This was a tremendous conversation. If you're a leader, or you hope to be one someday, you will learn a lot from Tom.

Attorney Girija Patel on What Every Business Owner and Creative Needs to Know
Girija started her legal career in 2006 as a prosecutor and soon after, she realized that while she loved litigating in court, she had other passions she wanted to explore. So, she tapped into her creative side and started a thriving social media platform called CityTattler. It was there that she was introduced to an inspiring group of creative entrepreneurs.
She quickly fell in love with this new creative community but realized a real deficit of legal help. Any time she mentioned her background in business law, she’d see eyes glaze over and walls immediately go up.
She realized that, to her, business law is just a fact of life. But to her creative entrepreneur friends, it can be scary and overwhelming. So, now her goal is to make legal a line item and not a panic attack! Check out Girija's brand new podcast, Law Chat, that drops on 9/10/2020.
