Save LA’s Mission to Help the Homeless with Uncle Ardy Pirnia and Matthew Árce

Uncle Ardy Pirnia and Matthew Árce Help Los Angeles' Homeless Population Through Art and Artistry

We are all aware of the ongoing challenge to address homelessness in Los Angeles and the incredible need to provide access to affordable housing to the city’s most vulnerable population – women and children. Thanks to The Uncle Ardy Foundation, founded by Ardy Pirnia of Pirnia Law Group, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, Hot Rod, and MGA Consulting Inc., The Save LA Campaign has been launched to help address this very issue in the city of Los Angeles. MGA Consulting Inc., a boutique marketing firm founded by Matthew Arce and based in Los Angeles, facilitated a collaboration between these organizations as a way to build a meaningful connection between the organizations and give back to the community. The Uncle Ardy Foundation has raised over $1 million to help provide 172 beds for homeless families and women and children, a reliable source of food for the families, tutoring for children, and mental health support, and Hot Rod has committed to donating a portion of their apparel sales from the Save LA collection to The Uncle Ardy Foundation to further support the homeless in LA. The restored hotel – named “The Uncle” – is a symbol of the public and private sectors coming together to solve one of the most important challenges in the city.

Why are so many people choosing to go vegan?

Veganism is a dietary and lifestyle choice that has been gaining popularity in recent years. A vegan diet excludes all animal products, including meat, dairy, eggs, and honey. The reasons for going vegan can vary, but they usually involve concerns about animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and personal health.
In this episode, I explore the top reasons so many people are adopting a vegan lifestyle (and I understand the debate about whether someone who goes vegan is actually vegan if they're doing for any reason but for the animals. That is not the question I explore here).

We have many detergents to choose from, but which are vegan? Which are cruelty-free? And for people with scent sensitivities, like me, which won't injure you?
I give a rundown of some of my favorite detergents (which are vegan? Which are tested on animals? Which aren't tested on animals but are owned by companies that test on animals?)
